Conference “Vladimir Nabokov: life and literature”, 22.03.2023
The name of the American writer Vladimir Nabokov is known on all continents. Author of a world famous novel “Lolita”, he still fascinates today. The book “Lolita” has been adopted in the cinema more than once.
In order to discover the literary career of this unique writer, his biography, his life in Switzerland and, of course, the origins of his novel “Lolita”, we are offering a conference “Vladimir Nabokov: life and literature”, which will take place on Wednesday March 22, 2023 in our Integration Center.

Excursion to the RATH Museum, 18.03.2023
Dear friends!
We are very happy to once again offer our little Ukrainians (6 – 10 years) and their parents an excursion to the RATH Museum in Geneva.
During the excursion we will find out in which country landscape painting began. We will learn to distinguish the types and mood of landscape works. We will discover the childhood of exceptional artists whose life is closely linked to Ukraine. We are going to play “questions and answers”. And all this – with examples of works by artists for whom the beauty of Ukrainian nature was a source of inspiration (the exhibition “From Dusk to Dawn”).

So that the new year starts on beautiful emotions, we invite our little Ukrainians for a nice trip that makes you dream! Indeed, in the space of 2 hours we will travel the Alps but also the Mediterranean, the great African lakes, the Mekong, the Great Barrier Reef and the Amazon! 🌎
How? Quite simply by visiting the largest freshwater aquarium in Europe! We will also see a magnificent vivarium – an exhibit of one hundred living reptiles, amphibians and arachnids!

Football camp for Ukrainian boys and girls (status S)
Dear friends,
It is with great pleasure that we announce the registration for the football camp for Ukrainian boys and girls (status S).
The sports camp will be supported by the FC Servette football club and will take place during the school holidays from 24.10.2022 to 28.22.2022.
The camp (activities, balanced meals, equipment and materials) is absolutely free for Ukrainian children.
Summer camp “On the farm”
Dear friends,
Our summer camp “On the farm” was a huge success, that’s why we decided to organize it again for Ukrainian children (S status).
The camp will take place in an authentic Swiss farm, where from Monday to Friday the children will have the opportunity to do lots of interesting and fun things. During the next autumn holidays, the little Ukrainians will be offered several fun activities 🏸🤹 ♀️🎭🎨:
Excursion to the Manège in Divonne-les-Bains, October 2022, France
Horses are amazing animals. The therapeutic properties of horses have been known since ancient times. Contact with horses is recommended for psychological help to children and adolescents, as well as for improving the condition of sick people.
Equitherapy is used in the treatment of hemiplegia, paraplegia and various neurological disorders. Horseback riding strengthens muscles, improves balance, makes joints more flexible and is good for general morale. ☀️

With the valuable support of our partners Star Logistique, Emaloja and La Commune de Veyrier, the Sunflower Association is offering a new creative day camp for Ukrainian girls and boys aged 6 to 1, 04.07.2022-05.08.2022.
The camp will take place in a real authentic Swiss farm, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., where the child will have the opportunity to try out various activities, namely:
- – Stage (theatre, puppet theatre, song and dance);
- – Needlework (making dolls, masks, etc.);
- – Sports games (badminton, ball games, tennis and other fun team activities).

Located in the heart of the old town of Geneva, an emblematic place for all philosophers, great historical personalities and reformers, our "Sunny Club" opens its doors to present to you on a weekly basis all the news of the country in which you currently live. through the most important titles of newspapers, magazines and TV news. Some themes will be led by people who speak French or English.

From 01.09.2022 Sunflower Association opens a new Integration Center to best support Ukrainian refugees in their adaptation to new conditions. Our specialists offer language courses (French and English), job search assistance, and support in socio-professional integration. There are also many workshops and entertainment activities.

Convoy «Medical aid for the Embassy of Ukraine in Bern»
We are proud to announce that with the help of our partners we were able to send a new medical convoy (first aid kits, medicines, medical equipment) for an amount of 7,000 CHF. The pallets are taken to the Embassy of Ukraine in Bern on 07.06.2022 and will be sent to Lviv to the main depot. On-site dispatching will be done according to urgent needs.

"Malyatko"
Association Sunflower is happy to welcome you to a children's center and meeting place "Malyatko" in Geneva.
“Malyatko” is a nice place with various activities.
In addition to numerous games, toys, craft materials and accessories suitable for children of all ages, we offer places to read as well as tables for drawing and painting or playing with modelling clay.
From now on, 3 times a week, our volunteers will offer structured activities to your children in order to stimulate their development.
A space for children and parents.
It is a place to spend time together, to play, to discover, to share, to exchange joys or difficulties, to gently prepare for community life or simply to take a break.
It offers a space of security and confidence to a child and his family. It allows you to create a network, exchange advices and share good times.
Awakening and social life
The “Malyatko” children's center offers children a unique way to experience community life (sometimes for the first time) outside their family environment.
We are committed to offering you a quality welcome where the experiences of social life and awakening can be lived at best!

"Zernechko"
The Sunflower Association is pleased to announce the opening of a new space for children 0-4 years old: "Zernechko" located in the heart of Geneva.
In partnership with the City of Geneva and the Association Cerf Volant, from October 1, 2022, we are opening the doors of "Zernechko" to welcome little Ukrainians and their mothers (status S) in order to offer them a warm place adapted to all needs with lots of games and activities for the little ones.
"Zernechko" is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 09:00 to 12:00.
Presence of psychologists speaking several languages.
Entry is free without registration.
